I am a full-time employee in higher education administration at Texas Tech University. I am also a part-time graduate student studying New Media Communication in Education through the Master of Science Interdisciplinary Studies program at TTU. I plan to graduate with my mater’s degree this summer, and will begin my doctoral studies this fall as a Ph.D. student in the Educational Psychology program at TTU.
The role I envision for myself, and I hope this will explicate itself wholly organically as I advance as a scholar, is that of one that will help track and make sense of the changing culture in education. Within this shifting culture includes such areas as, how education is aided and spurred forward by both personal and mediated communication, and how that development can help shape learning experiences into even more productive experiences for everyone involved in education.
